Entertainment Week Africa Is Coming: Six Days of Music, Film, Fashion, and Culture in Lagos

Lagos, Nigeria – Entertainment lovers, this one’s for you. The same crew that gave us Mavin at 10 and Tiwa Savage Live is back with something even bigger. Entertainment Week Lagos has officially leveled up into Entertainment Week Africa (EWA) — and it’s all going down in Lagos from November 18–23, 2025, across the Livespot Entertarium and other buzzing city spots.

So, what’s EWA about? In one word: everything. Music, film, fashion, tech, comedy, parties, workshops. It’s a full-on celebration of Africa’s creativity.

The Vibe

EWA isn’t your average conference or festival. Think of it as six days where the city turns into one big creative playground. You can party, network, learn, laugh, and probably stumble into your next big idea (or collab) while you’re at it.

Here’s what’s lined up:

EWA Content Festival – For the movie heads, this is your chance to catch screenings, premieres, and director talks, plus see what African filmmakers are cooking up next.

EWA Music Camp – A week-long creative lock-in for producers, songwriters, and engineers, all coming together to build an EWA-exclusive project.

Live Shows & Parties – From the Opening Party to Jokes n Jollof (yes, comedy and food), the Turn Up Lagos concert series, and the big finale — the Livespot X Festival.

Gen-Z Republik, Creators’ Hub, Innovation Showcase – Spaces designed for young creatives to vibe, collaborate, and show off what’s next in culture and tech.

More Than Entertainment

While the shows will definitely be fire, EWA is also about creating real opportunities. If you’re trying to break into the industry, this is your golden ticket.

  • The Labspot: Masterclasses with industry leaders.
  • The Deal Room: A chance for selected founders to pitch to investors and tap into a ₦25 million seed fund.
  • Creative Job Fair: Meet recruiters and hiring managers ready to connect talent with real jobs.

Basically, it’s part festival, part accelerator.

Why It Matters

EWA is more than just rebranding an event. It’s a statement that Africa’s creative industries — music, film, fashion, tech — deserve a unified stage and a global spotlight.

Entertainment Week Africa is where the brilliance, originality, and global influence of Africa’s creative industry come together,” says Deola Art Alade, Founder of Livespot360. “It’s not just about spotlighting what exists — it’s about building what comes next.”

Co-founder Darey Art Alade puts it even more plainly:

“EWA is the go-to destination for creatives seeking connections, experiences, and ideas that shape the future. It’s also about creating opportunities for the next generation of African talent.”

The Bottom Line

From concerts to comedy, masterclasses to job fairs, Entertainment Week Africa is setting up to be the creative event of the year. Whether you’re in it for the culture, the connections, or just the vibes, this is one week you don’t want to miss.

Stay tuned to EWA’s official socials for lineup drops, ticket info, and how to sign up for the pro programs. November can’t come fast enough.
