I was lucky to attend The Beauty Souk last Sunday. I say Lucky because I am sure a lot more people wanted to attend but they could not come out because of the flood.
It is no longer news that Victoria island/Lekki axis was heavily flooded on Saturday. Several events got cancelled and a lot of people had to stay indoors. I was going to stay in but I took the bold step when I saw the event update on the Beauty Souk stories on Instagram. Fortunately the roads were dry and I could not even imagine that they were actually flooded the day before. I also felt that would cause a low turn out but amazingly everyone came out for the event.
Kudos to Eventful Nigeria for putting it together and of course Diamond TV for supporting we can’t wait for the next edition. It was an eventful day from masterclasses to Celebrity appearances sales at the vendors booth and Good vibes from DJ Butterr. Here are pictures from the event.
