Ultra Prestige whisky brand, the Macallan has hosted a two-day soiree at Safari Valley Resort to foster its relationship with Ghana’s elites.
The exclusive event took place amidst the breathtaking beauty of Safari Valley, offering a luxurious retreat in the heart of Ghana. The event aimed to celebrate the brand’s essence while providing an unforgettable experience for guests.
Guests included prominent personalities such as Sir Sam E. Jonah, President of AngloGold Ashanti; Alhaji Yusif Ibrahim, Executive Chairman, Dara Salaam group and Board Chair, GT Bank Ghana; Esi Tawia Addo-Ashong, Board Chairman of Stanbic Bank; Ashok Mohinani, CEO of Mohinani Group of Companies; and Sam Afari, CEO of Safari Valley, amongst others.
The Macallan’s commitment to exceptionalism and its unrivalled reputation as the provider of extraordinary whisky were key elements of the event.
Throughout the weekend, guests were immersed in The Macallan’s world, where they had the opportunity to indulge in an array of whisky tastings and pairings, crafted by the brand’s experts as well as an eight-minute movie that carefully outlines the story of Janet ‘Nettie’ Harbinson who, in 1926, crafted what would become the most valuable bottle of wine or spirit ever sold at auction. The inspiring story showcases the distinct craftsmanship and unparalleled quality that define The Macallan’s single malt whisky.
The event also featured a range of outdoor activities and bespoke experiences to provide guests with an escape from the ordinary. From serene nature walks and rejuvenating spa treatments to exhilarating adventures, golf competitions and gourmet dining experiences, every detail was meticulously planned to exceed expectations and create lasting memories.
