La Roche-Posay is Bringing an Immersive Skin Science Experience to Lagos

Skincare is about more than finding products that work. Understanding why certain skin concerns occur, how ingredients support skin health and when to seek professional advice can make a difference in everyday skincare decisions. This November, La Roche-Posay is bringing its Living Lab experience to Nigeria for the first time, giving Nigerians an opportunity to explore the science behind their skin.

Taking place on 5 and 6 November 2026 at Plot 8 & 9, Ligali Ayorinde, Victoria Island, Lagos, Living Lab Nigeria will combine interactive skincare demonstrations, immersive installations and expert consultations to explore common concerns such as acne, hyperpigmentation, sun exposure, sensitive skin, atopy and skin barrier damage.

Inspired by La Roche-Posay’s Living Lab in Paris, the experience draws on more than 50 years of dermatological research and innovation. Visitors will be able to explore the science behind skincare in an environment designed to make skin health easier to understand.

What can visitors expect?

The experience will feature five Innovation Corners dedicated to La Roche-Posay’s Mela B3, Anthelios, Effaclar, Cicaplast and Lipikar ranges. Each corner will focus on different aspects of skin health, from the relationship between sun exposure and pigmentation to acne management, skin barrier recovery and the care of sensitive skin.

Visitors can also explore the Blue House, which highlights the brand’s dermatological research and history, and the Scars of Life Cinema. The latter will feature a film exploring atopy, atopy-prone skin and the impact skin conditions can have on everyday life.

One of the key features of the experience is access to free consultations with certified dermatologists and skincare experts throughout the public event. Visitors will be able to ask questions about their skin concerns and receive professional guidance to help them make more informed skincare choices.

“Skincare conversations are everywhere, but knowing what works for your skin requires more than following trends or trying the latest product,” said Nadia Amasa, L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty. “Living Lab gives us an opportunity to make dermatological science more accessible, bringing people closer to the experts, research and innovations that inform better skincare choices.”

For those interested in shopping, the Living Lab Pop-Up Store will offer a 15% discount on purchases in partnership with Konga Health.

The experience will be open to the public on 5 and 6 November. Visitors are required to register and select a time slot to access the public experience at www.livinglabnigeria.com.
