What to Eat in Lagos: Sunday Buffet Edition

Eat all you can at a reasonable price. That is the idea of a buffet. Weekends are close to incomplete without a Sunday buffet with family and friends. You get to wine,  dine, and laugh over tantalizing cuisines, filling your stomach with all it can take. You can design it the way you want, in the portions you want.

Lagos offers a couple of perfect locations to enjoy a proper buffet, here are the top 6 spots for a buffet in Lagos.

Amazonas Restaurant, Victoria Island: One of the very few buffet restaurants in Lagos, Amazonas is, always ready to serve its mouth-watering buffet to customers both during the weekend and on weekdays. For just N10,000, you can indulge yourself in an epic feast. They serve a combo of American, African, Asian, and British cuisines. Don’t forget to make reservations as it’s a popular favorite, especially on Saturday and Sunday. It is located at 62b, Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island. They are open for buffet every Sunday from 1 pm to 9 pm.

2. Koriko and Co, Ikeja: A buffet restaurant in the 5-star Lagos Marriott Hotel in Ikeja, Koriko is a perfect place to treat yourself and eat to your full.  They open every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner so you can always check it out anytime. It’s also a family-friendly restaurant great for Sunday brunch dates with family and friends. It is located on Joel Ogunniake Street, Ikeja GRA and they open daily for breakfast, lunch, or dinner buffet.

3. 360 Restaurant by Vertigo: At 360 Restaurant by Vertigo, you can experience different cuisines that will leave you craving.  You can’t go wrong with their delicacies, made specially to fit the taste buds of every person. Located in VI, 360’s premium Asian dishes set it apart, giving you an opportunity to try out different Asian delicacies. They are open for buffet every Sunday, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

4. Spice Route: Another excellent choice for Asian and Indian dishes, Spice Route’s Buffet is open every  Sunday. If you’re looking to try new delicacies and explore new cuisines, Spice Route is worth trying. For as low as N12,000 you can eat anything you want ranging from quick bite to specialty and they round it up with sweet delight ” cut fruits”. It is located at No. 36 Adeola Odeku Str. Victoria Island, Lagos, and open for buffet every Sunday from 1 pm to 3 pm.

5. Safron Rooftop: If not for anything, I will try out Safron for the breathtaking views. Just like the name implies, it is nestled on the 5th floor of Safron Hotel where you can enjoy a beautiful view along with a perfect meal. This Buffet is recommended for celebrations or a family hangout and with just N15,000 you get to enjoy all you can. It also comes with Karaoke and other side attractions to keep guests delighted. 

It’s located at No. 57 Joel Ogunniake, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, and a buffet is available every day starting from 5 p.m.

6. Monty Suites: Monty Suites has been around for a minute and is very well known for its buffet. Since moving to Lekki, they now offer a buffet on Sundays. You can break your ‘Sunday fast’ with here and be ready for a mouth-watering culinary experience. The buffet costs N15,000 per person and it’s available every Sunday between 12 pm and 4 pm. It is located at 16, Adebayo Doherty Road, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
