5 Restaurants in Lagos Recommended for a Perfect Date Night

The perfect date night locations do exist, and we recently released reviews of 5 restaurants in Lagos to get your creative juices flowing before we recommend any more. We all have favourite memories, and dining at fancy restaurants with your partner ought to be one of them. In Lagos, there is no lack of amorous restaurants and we hope that this piece will make finding them faster.

1) Salma’s Restaurant

It’s hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Lagos and with every visit, you’d be getting your money’s worth. Even though Salma’s has been around for a while, it’s a constant favourite if you’re looking for a perfect combination of great customer service, cosy ambience and a delicious menu. This restaurant will also appeal to vegetarians and anyone with good taste in authentic Lebanese cuisine. With excellent customer service, and an aesthetically pleasing environment with an alfresco area for dining. Try it out and thank us later.

Konnichiwa! Sushi lovers gather here! Izanagi gives you an intimate, cosy and private feel while serving a varied Japanese menu with great service. There’s a perfect time and place to enjoy something light and savoury, and better believe it, it’s at this restaurant. Don’t judge that there’s a club downstairs at this location, it’s still as serene indoors and you should absolutely try their Tepeyanki to add some drama to your date night.

Here, your favourite part of their dishes would probably be everything! If there’s anything they promise to offer, it’s a great meal. Just picture dining near calm, cool running waters and the beautiful lights hanging up above. This place is bliss.

4) Z Kitchen

Why wouldn’t you want to dine at a classy, deluxe restaurant like this? Every meal is a hit, back to back. You’ll be amazed by their extensive drinks and food options, which make for an exciting dining experience. You make reservations, of course, then sit, order, and enjoy the perfection, quality, and great ambience this eating house has to offer. Z Kitchen has a decently older crowd and a mix of expatriates. It’s a perfect location for a mature date.

5) Bungalow Restaurant

Bungalow is more like the mainland version of Izanagi, with great food, decent ambience and service. To have the best experience for your date night, try the indoor area and experience their Tepeyanki with their chef’s performance and culinary mastership. What sets Bungalow apart from its fellow Asian cuisine contemporaries is its inclusion of Nigerian and Mexican food on the menu, allowing for more varied options.
